What is design-build?
It is a way of delivering a project in which one company handles both design and construction under a single relationship with the homeowner, instead of separate contracts with a designer and a builder.
How is it different from hiring an architect and a builder separately?
With separate firms, design and pricing often happen apart and plans may need changes once bids come in. In design-build, estimating starts during design, so plans develop with the budget and the site in mind.

When will I know the final cost?
